What Is a Veteran?

A “Veteran” — whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve — is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America,” for an amount of “up to, and including his life.” That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact.

I'm a veteran... yeah I did all that. But I'm still out of work and I'd much rather see information on this site about work opportunities Waving the flag ain't paying the bills!

for those of you who don't allready know it takes a big man to say I'm sorry ! or I made a mistake,we can use more MEN like that. I just had a friend call and he went to work on a boilermaker ticket in Lively Ill. they needed plate welders out of belleveiw hall .they are smarter than us when they can't man a job they work other union tradesmen on a ticket and don't give there work to the ironheadslike us millwrights have done (well not us per say just our BA"S and International) i think Bechtel is the contractor 5-10's and a 8 on sat
